One appliance from Redruth attended a car fire located off road between United Downs and Fernsplatt. On arrival the crew found the car to be well alight. The crews wearing breathing apparatus and using two hosereels extinguished the fire. The cause is believed to have been deliberate and details have been passed to Devon and Cornwall Police.
