Two appliances from Lostwithiel attended an automatic fire alarm sounding at a premises in Queen Street. On arrival the crews investigated and found a fire involving a cooker which was out but had caused the room to be filled with smoke. Crews wearing breathing apparatus and using a positive pressure ventilation fan were able to clear the smoke from the property.
