Crews from Looe were mobilised to this incident, on arrival it was found that a single storey timber clad bungalow was well alight and further resources were required, appliances from Lostwithiel and Liskeard were mobilised. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used jets and hosereels at the scene to extinguish the fire. Crews were delayed a considerable time with the last crew returning to their home station at approximately 0400 hours. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed and will be making further enquiries. A Fire Investigation Officer from Cornwall Fire Brigade will attend later in the day. No further details are available for this incident.
