Farmyard Shed Fire
Near Callington at 18/06/2003 19:46
Ten firefighters riding 2 appliances from Callington attended and found a farmyard shed about 10m by 8m, containing plastics and oils to be involved in fire. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used 2 hosereels to extinguish the fire by 2004hrs.
The fire was caused by sparks from an angle grinder and the Brigade would like to remind people to be aware of the dangers of using this type of equipment.
