On request from Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue, both appliances from Launceston and a water carrier from Bodmin, were mobilised to assist two appliances, a water foam carrier and command unit, at an incident which involved two large barns on fire, large quantities of water are involved also the use of breathing apparatus and jets and hosereels.
Launceston appliances returned to home station at approximately 0530 hours. The water carrier from Bodmin is remaining on scene for a considerable time.
