Carbon Monoxide

Rosevine Way, Camborne at 07/12/2017 16:19

One appliance from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station was mobilised to a property where the Carbon Monoxide alarm was sounding. On arrival crews used two breathing apparatus and confirmed a Carbon Monoxide reading of 49. Crews found a faulty boiler was to blame and isolated the boiler as well as the gas supply to the property. The neighbouring property was also checked and was clear of Carbon Monoxide.

Carbon Monoxide is potentially fatal and even low-levels of the poison can cause lasting damage to your health. You can't smell it, see it or taste it, but it could be there now.
