A crew from Truro and specialist line rescue crews from Bodmin Community Fire Station are currently in attendance in the St Allen area carrying out a rescue of several foxhounds which got lost whilst out with the Hunt on Saturday. The hounds were found at the bottom of a mine shaft near St Allen and crews are in the process of bringing each dog up to the surface.
Update at 1430 HRS - The operation to rescue the dogs is now complete and all fire service resources have left the scene.
