Ennors Road, Newquay at 13/12/2018 03:01

At 03:01 Critical Control received a 999 call, to say that a house was on fire in Ennors Road, Newquay. Appliances from Newquay and a flexi duty office were mobilised. Upon arrival Crews requested further resources, a further appliance from Perranporth was mobilised.
Crews used breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and a covering jet to extinguish the fire.

Working smoke alarms save lives!

In 2016/17, there were 256 accidental dwelling fires during which three people died, one person was seriously injured, 28 people were injured slightly and five people were rescued.
