If you are planning a large bonfire in Cornwall, inform the Fire and Rescue Service before you start by calling our Critical Control Centre on 0203 162 2240.
Tell the Critical Control Operator:
• Your location.
• Time you intend to start burning.
• Confirm when you have finished burning.
If you are a business you will be asked to provide an Environment Agency Exemption Certificate number.

This helps us avoid sending fire engines to false alarms when they could be responding to a real emergency.
