At 19:58, the Critical Control Centre received an emergency call informing them of a road traffic collision with someone trapped in the area of Treluswell, Penryn.

A Rescue Tender from Tolvaddon was immediately mobilised along with two appliances from Falmouth. A whole time officer also attended for support.

On arrival, fire crews confirmed one person trapped in a vehicle. They used Crash Rescue Equipment to release the casualty. All casualties were left in the hands of South Western Ambulance Service and the incident was handed over to Devon and Cornwall Police.

All appliances have now left the scene and no further updates are available for this incident.
