Two appliances from Falmouth, one from Tolvaddon and a flexi-duty officer responded to reports of a bedroom fire within a block of flats.
The crews arrived to find smoke issuing from the building. Two firefighters in breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
