At 05:46 Fire Control received the first of two 999 calls reporting a house fire with people still inside. Three appliances were mobilised from Tolvaddon and Falmouth along with a Station Manager from Truro.
On arrival crews found a fire in a ground floor flat caused by a cooker and confirmed all persons were now accounted for. Two firefighters in breathing apparatus are using a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
