Two appliances from St Austell and St Dennis attended a call to a fire in an airing cupboard. On crews arrival they confirmed smoke was issuing from the kitchen on the property. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews isolated electrics in the property and helped with salvaging belongings. The property was naturally ventilated and crews carried out home fire safety checks on neighbouring properties before leaving scene.
