Two appliances from Bodmin initially responded to this incident, along with a wholetime officer.

On arrival crews confirmed the residential building was well alight, suspected persons reported and made pumps four. Additional resources from Lostwithiel and Wadebridge were mobilised. Crews quickly started to tackle the blaze and made pumps six and ariel ladder platforms one, alone with a second wholetime officer. Additional resources from St Dennis and Liskeard were mobilised and the ALP from Newquay, along with specialist appliances from Launceston and St Austell.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus sets used two hose reel jets and two main jets to extinguish the fire. Police, National Grid and Wales and West in attendance.

The property was fully destroyed by fire and a fire investigation will take place as soon as possible.
