One appliance from Bodmin was mobilised to this incident.
A log pile and quantity of wood chips was alight. A second appliance from St Austell was requested for water supplies as the fire had spread to a hedge and other piles.
Two hose reels jets were used to cool the main pile and extinguish the rest of the fire.
