Two fire appliances from Tolvaddon, a fire appliance from Perranporth and a fire appliance from Truro attended a fire involving a bedroom on the the first floor of a detached house, measuring approximately 10 metres by 10 metres. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using a hosereel and thermal imaging camera, extinguished the fire by 0200hrs. The fire crews were detained checking the first floor and roof space for fire spread, and assisting with salvage.
