One appliance from Liskeard initially responded to this incident.
On arrival crews confirmed one ram stuck above a sluice gate above a weir and requested the attendance of a water rescue team and a line rescue team. Additional resources from Bodmin and St Austell were mobilised alone with a wholetime officer.
Crews used water rescue throw line, hose inflation poles and life jackets to rescue the ram. The incident was left in the hands of a local farmer and crews returned to home stations.
