WEATHER WARNING – HEAVY RAIN

Heavy rain is forecast across Cornwall on Wednesday & Thursday,
which could lead to surface water flooding, difficult driving conditions and an increased risk of incidents.

Please take extra care if travelling
- Slow down and allow extra braking distance
- Use dipped headlights
- Avoid driving through flood water – it may be deeper or moving faster than it appears

River & Stream Safety
- Stay well clear of rivers, streams and flood water
- River levels can rise quickly and without warning
- Keep children and pets away from fast-moving water

Protect your home and stay safe
- Clear drains and gullies where it’s safe to do so
- Be prepared for possible localised flooding and disruption
