Update 05/02/26:

All crew members left this incident by 18:15 on 03/02/26. Once extinguished, fire crews used Positive Pressure Ventilation to clear the smoke. National Grid also attended to isolate electricity to this property.

Fire crews have confirmed the fire was accidental and confined to the kitchen.

Fire Control received a 999 call at 15:46 informing them of a kitchen fire in a restaurant.

Two appliances from Falmouth were mobilised and on arrival requested the assistance of a third appliance from Truro. A whole time officer is also in attendance at this time.

Crew members, wearing breathing apparatus, are fighting the fire using hose reel jets and a safety jet.

Police have been requested to set up a road closure. Please find an alternate route.
