Multiple crews from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service are currently responding to a suspected boat fire in Sailors Creek, Flushing.

Fire Control has received more than 40 repeat calls regarding the incident.

Update 23:45 Fire crews have been tackling the fire from the land and from the sea using the Fire Boat. Good progress is being made with the incident being scaled back to two appliances. Firefighters will remain on scene for some time damping down.

Update 20/02 06:30 Fire service crew remain on scene damping down and monitoring. Due to difficult access the incident scene will be reassessed during daylight hours to confirm if the fire is out or further firefighting actions are to be taken.
