At 18.28 on 5th April 2026, two fire engines from St Ives and Penzance attended a commercial building fire in St Ives. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one thermal imaging camera and positive pressure ventilation. Crews were detained over ninety minutes.
