Fire Control received a 999 call at 21:53 informing them of a residential fire at a property in Gulval. Two appliances were quickly mobilised from Penzance and Hayle, along with a whole time officer for support.
On arrival, firefighters confirmed a fire in the kitchen and worked to extinguish the fire.
Once the fire was confirmed out, firefighters remained on scene to ventilate the property and monitor hot spots.
