Following a call reporting a young cow trapped between rocks Fire Control mobilised appliances from Lostwithiel and Bodmin Community Fire Stations along with an officer. On arrival the crews cleared the area to be able to formulate a plan with the help of the farmer and responding veterinarian. The cow was rescued using specialist animal rescue equipment and left in the care of the farmer and veterinarian.
