Two appliances from St Austell and Mevagissey initially responded to this incident, along with a wholetime officer.
On arrival crews confirmed a very large barn, with smoke issuing made pumps four. Additional resources from St Austell and St Dennis were mobilised.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus sets used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. Crews remained on scene monitoring hot-spots before leaving the scene.
