One appliance from St Austell initially responded to this incident.
On arrival crews confirmed one field of scrubland approximately 60 meters by 20 meters was on fire.
Firefighters used two hose reel jets and one beater to extinguish the fire. Crew were delayed 30 minutes damping down and making up equipment.
