We remain in attendance at a wildfire at Nanquidno Downs, St Just.

Over the past 24 hours crews from Penzance, St Just, St Ives, Tolvaddon, Perranporth, Falmouth, Helston, Truro, Newquay, Padstow, Polruan, Looe, Launceston and Callington have been working hard to extinguish the fire and support the ongoing incident.

Crews have sectorised the incident and are using a high volume pump to provide adequate water to continue extinguishing the fire.

Local residents please keep door and windows closed and avoid the area.
