Hosepipe Ban and Controlled Burns

It has been declared that from midnight tonight Cornwall will officially be in drought conditions and subject to a hosepipe ban. CFRS respectfully ask that all residents consider this carefully particularly when thinking of having a controlled burn. Without an immediate means to extinguish a bonfire, and given the very dry ground conditions, the potential for fire spread is high and places lives and property at risk. Please take care and act responsibly.
