One call was received to a boat with a significant fire in the cabin area. Crews from Polruan, Looe, Fowey and Bodmin attended the incident. On crews arrival smoke was issuing from the boat. The 15 metre vessel was on land and crews entered the boat wearing breathing apparatus. Two crew entered the vessel under breathing apparatus with a main jet, a second safety jet had been set up. The fire was located in the accomodation area and crews confirmed the fire was believed out. Crews monitored the vessel using thermal imaging camera and gas detector. Crews monitored the incident ensuring that the temperatures within the boat dropped confirming that the fire was out and hadn't spread to hidden voids. Crews remain in attendance at this time.
