Cows Fallen In Quarry
Breage, Helston at 24/10/2026 11:24
An appliance from St Just and the specialist Rope Rescue Vehicles from Tolvaddon and Bodmin along with a Flexi Duty officer attended this incident.
It involved two cows who had fallen approx 20 feet down onto a ledge into a quarry. The crews formulated a plan to extricate the animals from the ledge which involved cutting away heavy vegetation to make a safe egress for the cattle.
The incident was then left in the hands of the owner.
